Film Auckland

This website has been designed to showcase Auckland as a filmmaking destination to Film Directors and Producers around the world. The site needed to have strong aesthetic appeal, while delivering a large quantity of information in an organised way.
We approached this by offering a panoramic visual style, mirroring the world of our target market. We created a novel approach to navigating the site, where visitors firstly select the sector within which they work, and from that point onwards, all content is tailored to their requirements.
The project posed a number of challenges due to it stretching over almost 3 years from the initial scoping through to final launch. The start stop nature of the job was a result of project funding delays and changes in the Film Auckland board. Despite these issues, we were able to keep tight control over the project and deliver a site that has been highly praised.
