Watch this space: the birth of a new online community

Gravitate has always had a passion for working with the creative industries and over the years we have assisted a variety of clients working in diverse creative areas to design and build websites. As new web concepts are developed clients want increasingly complicated functionality built into their websites and Gravitate is always keen to meet this challenge.We have recently launched a new website called “Watch This Space”, designed and built for Artists Alliance to provide an energetic interactive online community space for tertiary art students. The website incorporates a number of ‘Web 2.0’ concepts for networking and publishing, so that the students can exchange and develop ideas with other members of a like-minded community. We have enjoyed the design and build phases of this project and look forward to a continued involvement as it grows and expands its subscriber base.

Although Gravitate works on a high percentage of sites for the arts and creative industries, we have experience in working with many other industries. Another project completed recently was a web application for the construction and events industry. The software, developed entirely by Gravitate in-house, was designed specifically to meet the client’s unique business requirements from quoting and ordering through to invoicing and stock management.
