Automation is the process if integrating the front-end design with the back-end CMS to create a fully functioning website.
It involves writing the code so that the front-end web pages source all content intelligently from the back-end database.
This is one of the core exercises in building a website and must be done with complete accuracy or the site won't be able to function how it should!
